When I was born, I did not cry. I merely asked for the doctor to pass the scissors and if he would kindly burp me.

My precociousness continued throughout my childhood in rural Cambridge. I declared my room a sovereign state, and proclaimed it a kingdom free from chores, with legalised gambling. Unfortunately, this ground-breaking state collapsed due to two factors. Firstly, gambling was already legal. And secondly, it was lunch.

I soon realised I was blessed with a silver tongue when I stole the cookie from the cookie jar. I talked myself out of trouble, despite the overwhelming crumb trail evidence.

But despite these humble beginnings, the tides of greatness were stirring. So, after graduating from Claremont McKenna College in LA, I began my studies in advertising at Miami Ad School Europe.

From MASE to Ogilvy and Mather in Frankfurt then Dusseldorf. A pan-European creative. I moved back to London to move in-house with Amazon as a senior conceptual creative.

As my Uncle used to say to me all the time, “With great power comes great responsibility.”

So I find myself here. Just me and my words. The path of a hero is hard to walk.

Where next? Who knows. I just know it won’t be boring.
